Season’s Greetings (Families)
Hectic holiday time together becomes time spent in joyful expectation of the Christ Child who makes all of our Season’s Greetings possible. Families will find prayers and discussion starters to use while they participate in the traditions they treasure!
Parish Activities 
Our Lady of Peace Parish Advent Reconciliation Service ~ Friday, December 10th at 7:00 pm at St. Theresa’s Church. 
 
“Hope” an Advent Retreat with Sr. Karen ~ Wednesday, December 15th at 7:00 pm.  Two ways to participate!  Join us online via a Zoom or watch the livestream of the retreat at St. Theresa’s Church.  Contact Patty at pattycameron@ourladyofpeacefredericton.ca to receive the link to join online or to register to attend at St. Theresa’s Church.  All COVID protocols will be in place in the church and everyone must be vaccinated to attend at St. Therea’s. 
 
Family Faith Formation Advent Community Service Project ~ Sunday, December 19th from 9:45 to 10:45 am in St. Theresa’s Church Hall.  Families will gather to prepare blessing bags to be distributed to vulnerable youth in our community.

Indigenous Peoples and the Church: Walking Together Toward Healing and Reconciliation
Each week, the CCCB will release a video recording of a Bishop in Canada reflecting on the Gospel Reading for each Sunday of Advent. This year’s reflections were developed in view of the Indigenous Delegation which will be travelling to Rome to meet with Pope Francis this December.
The True Meaning of Christmas with Dr. Michael Barber. Learn more about the biblical accounts of Jesus’ birth and the meaning behind our favorite Christmas customs. This series will include new videos each week from Advent to Epiphany and will be featured on the main FORMED carousel.  Begins November 27th on FORMED.

Brother Francis Daily Advent Videos for Children (English and Spanish). Starting November 28th on FORMED.  Each day during Advent Brother Francis leads us on a daily journey in this special seasonal celebration of the coming of the Lord! Featuring meditations, prayers, and suggested activities to keep our focus on Christ this Christmas.
